- Team Collaboration Data: Team member invitations, roles, and collaboration activities
- Social Interactions: Follow relationships, saved press kits, and content preferences
- Communication Data: Messages, support requests, and feedback you provide
- Payment Information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe (we do not store full credit card information). Note: Only Developer accounts require paid subscriptions.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and interaction patterns
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers
- Analytics Data: Page views, click patterns, and engagement metrics
- File Management: Uploaded files and storage usage. When you replace uploaded files (e.g., logos), we automatically delete old versions to optimize storage.
- Cookies and Tracking: First-party cookies and local browser storage used for authentication status hints, trial/premium status hints, consent preferences, and user experience preferences
- Anti-abuse Signals: Verification signals used to prevent fraud and abuse (for example, reCAPTCHA Enterprise for authentication and reCAPTCHA v3 on forms)
- Error and Performance Monitoring: Error reports, performance traces, and diagnostic data sent to Sentry to help us identify and fix technical issues
- Advertising Pixels: On certain landing pages (e.g., get-found), we use advertising pixels such as Reddit Pixel to measure campaign effectiveness. These may collect page visits, sign-up events, and conversion data.

- Storage Optimization: To manage uploaded files and automatically remove obsolete versions when you upload replacements

- Payment Processing: To process subscriptions and transactions for Developer accounts
- Security and Reliability: To detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, technical problems, and application errors (via error monitoring)

- Marketing: To send promotional materials (with your consent, where required)
4. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Your profile information, press kits, and posts are publicly accessible and may be viewed, shared, and indexed by search engines. You control what information is made public through your privacy settings.
4.2 Team Members
If you invite team members to collaborate on press kits, those team members will have access to shared content, analytics, and collaboration features based on their assigned roles and permissions.
4.3 Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in:
- Firebase/Google Cloud: Hosting, authentication, database, and storage services
- Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management
- Email Services: Transactional and promotional email delivery
- Analytics Providers: Usage analytics and performance monitoring
- Anti-abuse Providers: Google reCAPTCHA (Enterprise for authentication, v3 for form protection)

PK Nexus offers different account types with varying features and data collection:
- Developer Accounts: Can create press kits, manage teams, and access analytics. Developer accounts require paid subscriptions (with a 7-day free trial) and collect payment and subscription data.
- Creator Accounts: Free accounts for content creators to discover and share game press kits. No payment data is collected.
- Media Accounts: Free accounts for journalists and media professionals to access press materials. No payment data is collected.
- Gamer Accounts: Free accounts for gamers to follow developers and discover games. No payment data is collected.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we need to retain it for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
File Management: When you replace uploaded files (such as logos or screenshots), we automatically delete the previous versions from storage to optimize space and protect your privacy. Deleted files cannot be recovered.
