About PK Nexus

Get found, get measured, stay up to date. A press kit ecosystem that removes friction between your game and the people who want to cover it.

Why PK Nexus Exists

PK Nexus was born from a simple, frustrating reality: great indie games get passed over every day because developers are busy shipping, and media assets are scattered, outdated, or missing entirely.

I run Ties That Bind Gaming. After years of wanting to cover more indies but hitting walls (no high-res logo, no press kit link, or days of email back-and-forth), I built the tool I wished every developer had. PK Nexus is that tool: a place where your assets live, where media and creators can find you in browse and search, and where you get analytics (views, referrers, and trackable pitch links) so you know when your outreach actually gets opened.

What Makes It Different

Most press kits are a dead end: a ZIP or a link that gets downloaded once and forgotten. PK Nexus is built as an ecosystem with concrete advantages over free options:

  • Discovery. Your kit is listed in browse and search. Media and creators find you by genre and platform, not only when you send a link.
  • Analytics. Views, unique visitors, where traffic came from, and which pitch links were opened.
  • Trackable pitch links. Create unique links per outlet or campaign; see when they're opened in your dashboard.
  • Live store data. Connect Steam or itch.io and your kit shows current price and updates without manual edits.
  • Play tester sign-ups. Turn on sign-ups per press kit; gamers and creators sign up on your page and you send keys from your dashboard.

So your press kit isn't just a place to download a logo. It gets found, gets measured, and stays up to date. More coverage gets linked back to you, and you spend less time chasing requests and more time making your game.

Who It's For

For developers

Create a press kit that’s discoverable in browse and search. It's always available for press and creators without back-and-forth. You get analytics (views, referrers, pitch-link opens), optional Steam/itch sync, and play tester sign-ups with key delivery.

For media & creators

You get fast access to logos, screenshots, trailers, and contact info without chasing developers. Free accounts let you tag your coverage to a game's press kit, and you can sign up as a play tester on kits that accept testers. Keys show up in your dashboard.

For gamers

Discover upcoming and released games, follow developers you love, and stay on top of news. Sign up as a play tester on press kits that accept testers. Keys land in your Dashboard → Play tests tab.

Vision

PK Nexus is not a funnel into an expensive PR suite. It's built entirely by an independent web developer, with indie devs and creators in mind. The goal is simple: eliminate the friction between your game and the people who want to cover it, and turn your press kit into something that works for you. Get found, get measured, stay up to date.

One piece of coverage or one key contact from a tracked pitch can be worth more than a year's subscription. We care about discoverability and real connections, not vanity metrics or enterprise bloat. If that sounds like what you've been looking for, we'd love to have you.
